Meet Adam Smith, Founder & CEO of Surplus to Purpose and also known for The Real Junk Food Project.
Adam Smith started The Real Junk Food project when he was working on a farm in Australia and started questioning production waste - and thought - we can do better; "Im gonna feed the world using surplus food".
"What we do is we take food that is deemed surplus - food that can´t be sold for whatever reason, and we take that food and process it. Everything goes to a database, everything gets weighed and we know to the gram how much food we have stopped going to waste...."
